The Alaskan series has gained a massive following due to its incredible performance, rider comfort and overall value. The 6061 Alloy frame has sanded welds giving it an almost carbon look, now available in several awesome color combinations. This is paired up with our 6061 Alloy straight blade fat bike fork, Avid BB7 Disc Brakes with 160mm rotors set up in our 80mm Alloy 32 hole rims with sealed hubs. Then hooked up to the trail with one of our favorite shoes…the Maxxis Mammoth 120tpi 26 X 4” fat bike tires. For winter riding at a lower PSI, toss on a larger tire like the Vee Rubber Bulldozer 4.7 for maximum grip in the white stuff! The bike also comes with a Race Face Ride 175mm Fat Bike Crank. (Light, Stiff, and Fat Specific). Yes, it pairs with the frame set like peanut butter and jelly...we know. Shifting is driven by SRAM X7 on a SRAM 10 Speed rear cluster of 11/36T. Afraid you won''t have enough range? The front chain ring comes as 32T stock but can be easily changed out to a 30T or 28T for lower gearing in winter. Want to really up your ante? Throw on a Wolf Tooth Cycling 42T giant cog specifically designed for SRAM timing. Some call this the poor man''s 1X... This listing doesn''t include the Wolf Tooth Cycling 42T giant cog.
