The Framed Minnesota 3.0 symbolizes the pinnacle of evolution of the Minnesota fat bike series. Front 150mm and rear 190mm hub spacing offers the versatility to run up to 4.8a tires while also providing a strong and stable platform to increase power transfer and control.The Minnesota 3.0 frame has a tapered headtube, which serves multiple purposes. First and foremost, the tapered head tube provides a wider steering base which improves control, cornering ability, and overall power transfer. Pressure and force is more evenly distributed using a larger base for the head tube-fork interface. Second, the tapered head tube allows the rider to upgrade to the latest and greatest forks on the market, including the Framed Carbon fork, Lauf Carbonara, RST Renegade, and Rockshox Bluto. The control aspects combined with the ability to run multiple fork options makes this Minnesota the obvious trail-slaying fat bike choice. This ground pounder starts with a 6061 oversized Aluminum alloy frame set for high intensity riding, but yet light enough to maintain pin-point maneuverability. The Minnesota 3.0 has an upgraded SRAM X7 2x10 drivetrain for even more range and climbing ability as well as stopping power from Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes with 160mm rotors.
