Joris uses beeswax candles for who knows what and was really into the shape and feel of the honeycomb pattern. Being that the candles are very close to the diameter of a grip, Joris really wanted to utilize this “Natural” design as the main concept for his signature grip. After many drawings, samples, and refinements we have at last created the Joris Coulomb Maya grip. An extremely comfortable and long lasting grip that takes it’s ingenious design straight from the natural world. When we started this project, he had a very clear vision of what he preferred in a grip and what would suit his riding style.
